Studiu dependențe adolescenți: Rețele sociale, alcool și risc
A recent study in Portugal indicates a decline in substance use among adolescents, yet highlights a vulnerable group facing significant risks. While overall consumption of alcohol, tobacco, and drugs has decreased, issues like problematic social media use and gambling are rising. The study reveals that girls are more likely to misuse social media, while boys engage more in risky gaming and gambling behaviors. Despite improvements, risky behaviors are concentrated among adolescents with multiple vulnerabilities, leading to higher chances of problematic incidents. The motivations for alcohol consumption vary, with some drinking for fun and others as an emotional escape. Protective factors like good academic performance and parental supervision are linked to lower risk behaviors.
