Studiu: De ce unii oameni ajung la 100 de ani, iar alții nu. Factorii care fac diferența
The secret to living over 100 years lies in a combination of genetics, diet, physical activity, and social support, rather than a single habit. Researchers have studied this for 55 years through 124 studies, revealing that longevity results from numerous small factors. Key findings indicate that centenarians age differently at the cellular level, showing slower DNA degradation and healthier mitochondria. They typically follow a plant-based diet, remain active, avoid smoking, and maintain strong social ties. Additionally, they manage stress better and experience age-related diseases later in life. However, not all centenarians fit this pattern, as some develop early diseases but live long lives with them.
