Studiu: De ce caz oamenii pe scările avioanelor Ryanair / Sute de cazuri raportate în ultimii cinci ani / „Sunt la limitele înălțimii”
A study analyzed over 100 cases of passengers falling on Ryanair's Boeing 737 stairs, revealing that most incidents were due to passenger inattention rather than the stairs themselves. The research indicated that passengers using the integrated stairs faced a significantly higher risk of falling compared to those using airport-provided stairs. Between 2023 and 2025, 85 out of 104 reported falls involved the aircraft's built-in stairs, which are steeper and narrower than standard airport stairs. Following numerous incidents, Ryanair updated its boarding protocol to emphasize the use of handrails.
