Studiu: Cartierele verzi te ajută să dormi mai bine
A recent study indicates that urban design, particularly greener neighborhoods and visually framed streets, can positively affect sleep quality. Researchers from Osaka Metropolitan University analyzed over 200,000 Google Street View images to correlate neighborhood characteristics with sleep data from 1,089 working adults in Tokyo. Findings suggest that well-framed streets are linked to longer sleep duration and fewer insomnia symptoms, while pedestrian-friendly areas may lead to shorter sleep. The study highlights the importance of urban planning in promoting better sleep health.
