Studiu BCR: Ce cunoștințe financiare au generațiile din România

A recent study by BCR reveals that young Romanians (18-34) have high confidence in their financial knowledge but perform poorly in assessments. In contrast, those aged 50-64, despite lower self-assessment, achieve better results. The study highlights a significant gap between perceived and actual financial literacy across generations. While young people are optimistic about their financial future and comfortable with digital banking, they lack essential knowledge. Older individuals, although more knowledgeable, express less confidence about their financial security. The findings suggest a need for tailored financial education to bridge these gaps and improve overall financial literacy in Romania.
