Strategia pentru biodiversitate nu apără interesele României. AUR a votat împotrivă

The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) opposed the national biodiversity strategy, claiming it undermines Romania's interests and harms farmers. AUR criticized the strategy for misleading provisions regarding agricultural support and accused it of promoting an ideological agenda. Deputy Valeriu Munteanu labeled the document as one of the most harmful to reach Parliament, asserting it does not reflect Romania's needs. He emphasized that the strategy creates false expectations for farmers, who will be adversely affected. Munteanu also criticized the strategy's drafting process, stating it was not prepared by the ministry, but rather by external companies.
