Strategia pentru biodiversitate nu apără interesele României. AUR a votat împotrivă

The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) opposed the national biodiversity strategy, claiming it undermines Romania's interests and harms farmers. AUR criticized the strategy for misleading provisions regarding agricultural support and accused it of promoting an ideological agenda. Deputy Valeriu Munteanu described the document as one of the most harmful to reach Parliament, asserting it does not reflect Romania's needs. He highlighted that amendments failed to address fundamental issues and warned that farmers would be severely impacted by the strategy's provisions. Munteanu also criticized the document's preparation, stating it was not drafted by the ministry but by external companies.
