Strabag finalizează achiziția BAWI Construction, companie specializată în infrastructură de cale ferată

Strabag SE has completed the acquisition of BAWI Construction SRL, a Bucharest-based company specializing in railway infrastructure services. The transaction, announced in July 2026, is effective from September 30, 2026, following regulatory approvals. BAWI will continue operations under its current brand and maintain its business activities and client relationships. The experienced management team will ensure operational continuity. This acquisition enhances Strabag's capabilities in a market supported by significant investments in railway modernization and European funding programs.
