STRABAG Romania has launched a new asphalt mixing plant in Avrig, Sibiu County, enhancing its capacity for major infrastructure projects. The plant is designed to produce high-quality asphalt mixtures while adhering to environmental standards. With a production capacity of 150 tons per hour, it can handle an estimated annual volume of 220,000 tons. The facility incorporates automated systems for production control and real-time monitoring, ensuring compliance with industry standards. Additionally, it features energy-efficient designs, including photovoltaic panels and a mobile crushing unit for recycling concrete waste. This investment strengthens STRABAG's local presence and supports economic development in the region.
