Stocarea internă oprită pentru a trimite masiv gaze în Moldova
Romania's gas imports have significantly decreased, while exports, particularly to Moldova, are near maximum capacity. The country is currently exporting 7.5 million cubic meters of gas, with 5.6 million cubic meters going to Moldova through the Iasi-Ungheni pipeline. Despite a drop in local production and minimal imports, Romania continues to supply gas to its neighbors. Storage levels have halved to 3.6 million cubic meters, raising concerns about energy supply for the upcoming winter. Analysts predict that the 2026/2027 winter could be particularly challenging for Europe due to low gas reserves and limited import options.
