Stelian Ion (USR): Vizita lui Nicușor Dan la CSM, o nouă dezamăgire. Niciun cuvânt despre justiția capturată

Former Justice Minister Stelian Ion criticized President Nicușor Dan's recent visit to the Superior Council of Magistracy, calling it disappointing. He noted that the President failed to address issues of captured justice and instead supported a new mechanism for investigating magistrates, which he deemed ineffective. Ion emphasized that despite recommendations from the Venice Commission to allow regular prosecutors to investigate magistrates, political opposition has hindered this reform. He expressed concern that the current system, designed to investigate magistrates, does not effectively tackle corruption within the judiciary. Ion also criticized the performance of the Prosecutor General, suggesting that past mechanisms have not resolved corruption issues.
