Ștefan-Ovidiu Popa, prezent la pornirea unui TBM pentru M6

The new Minister of Transport, Ștefan-Ovidiu Popa, inaugurated one of the Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) for the M6 metro line, connecting Bucharest to Henri Coandă Airport. The TBMs are named after saints, reflecting a tradition in naming such machines. The construction will occur in two phases, starting from the future Brussels station towards Tokyo, and later towards the airport. Popa emphasized the project's importance for enhancing international passenger flow to Bucharest. The southern section of M6 is 78% complete, while the northern section is at 34%. The entire line is expected to be finished by mid-2029, improving access for residents and travelers alike.
