STB a depus o nouă cerere de insolvență. Ciucu: Nu e cazul să ne jucăm cu stabilitatea financiară a Primăriei

The mayor of Bucharest, Ciprian Ciucu, announced that the Bucharest Transport Company (STB) has submitted a new insolvency request. This follows a previous request that was rejected due to missing documents. Ciucu emphasized that insolvency is the only solution to save the company and prevent further financial penalties, as STB's debts are significant. The company ended 2025 with debts of approximately 1.72 billion lei, primarily owed to the tax authority. The total exposure could reach around 3 billion lei when including other obligations. Ciucu plans to verify the documentation submitted by STB to ensure compliance.
