Statul pune la bătaie 150 de milioane de euro pentru investiții în stocare de energie electrică
Romanian companies can apply for funding to support energy storage investments, as announced by the Ministry of Energy. The deadline for project submissions is October 30, 2026. This initiative aims to enhance energy storage capacity amid an energy alert status due to reduced hydroelectric production. The funding, totaling 150 million euros, is part of a modernization fund and targets new autonomous battery storage installations. Eligible applicants include businesses of all sizes, provided they meet specific criteria outlined in the state aid scheme. Projects must be completed within 48 months of contract signing and adhere to environmental standards.
