Statul deblochează 1,2 miliarde de lei pentru furnizorii de energie
The increase of the advance payment for energy suppliers from 40% to 60% aims to improve liquidity in the market, but does not fully address the state's accumulated debts. Daniela Dărăban from ACUE highlighted that suppliers are owed around 6 billion lei, which has led to financial strain for nearly two years. The government's decision to raise the advance payment will release about 1-1.2 billion lei, easing some financial pressure. Suppliers have been applying discounts to consumer bills, expecting reimbursement from the state. The new legislation also introduces mechanisms for recovering overpaid amounts and extends deadlines for regularization, while imposing penalties for late repayments.
