Citizens can opt-in for notifications, which will be sent electronically, and a digital platform will be developed for this purpose. The law is expected to be implemented by July 2028, with penalties for institutions failing to comply. However, the absence of notifications does not extend the validity of documents, and citizens remain responsible for tracking expiration dates.
