Statul a lipsit de la prima adunare a acționarilor Nuclerelectrica
The Romanian state, through the Ministry of Energy, did not attend the Extraordinary General Meeting of Nuclearelectrica, leading to its cancellation due to lack of quorum. This meeting was significant as it followed the announcement of CEO Cosmin Ghiță's resignation. The meeting was rescheduled for September 11, 2026, focusing on a report from the Prime Minister's Control Body regarding delays and cost increases in the small modular reactors project at Doicești. Ghiță's departure comes amid challenges faced by Nuclearelectrica, including temporary shutdowns of reactors and ongoing project developments. The Doicești project aims to install six small modular reactors, potentially creating around 4,000 jobs.
