Statul a lipsit de la prima adunare a acționarilor Nuclearelectrica după demisia anunțată a actualului director general / Care a fost principalul punct din convocator
The Extraordinary General Meeting of Nuclearelectrica could not proceed due to the absence of the Romanian state, the majority shareholder. This meeting was the first after CEO Cosmin Ghiță announced his resignation. Only 10.52% of the voting rights were represented, failing to meet the quorum requirements. The next meeting is scheduled for September 11, 2026, to discuss a report from the Prime Minister's Control Body regarding the company's small modular reactors project. Ghiță's departure comes amid an energy crisis in Romania, with operational reactors halted due to low water levels in the Danube. The project aims to replace old capacity with cleaner energy and create thousands of jobs.
