These projects, now eligible for EU funding, aim to enhance collaborative defense efforts among European nations. The initiatives include drone warfare development, maritime defense, air and missile defense, and space defense. Ireland's Defense Minister emphasized the importance of protecting shared resources and citizens. A budget of 325 million euros is allocated for these projects under the European Defense Industry Program, with potential for additional funding in the future.
