.lumen, a Romanian company known for its glasses for the visually impaired, is expanding its operations in Japan with the support of Toyota Mobility Foundation. The team will return to Japan three times this fall to collaborate with visually impaired individuals and local partners. They will also participate in Sight World Tokyo, showcasing their technology. The glasses utilize AI and haptic guidance to assist users in navigating independently. This initiative builds on previous testing in Japan, where over 100 kilometers were covered in real conditions.
