The Ministry of Economy announced the reopening of registrations for the Startup Nation 2026 program, starting October 6, 2026, aimed at young entrepreneurs aged 18-29. This phase includes entrepreneurship courses that are prerequisites for accessing grants of up to 250,000 lei. A total of 17,600 spots will be available, with a focus on various eligible groups. Participants must complete a 40-hour course to receive a certificate, which is necessary for further funding applications. The program aims to equip young people with the skills to build sustainable businesses, with a total budget of 446 million EUR allocated for this edition.
