Young individuals aged 18 to 29 can apply for funding up to 250,000 lei starting October 6, 2026, through the Start-Up Nation program. A total of 17,600 spots are available, requiring completion of a 40-hour entrepreneurship course. The program is open to both employed and unemployed youth, including those returning to Romania, with a minimum educational requirement of completing secondary school. After course completion, participants can apply for non-reimbursable financial aid, which covers up to 90% of eligible project costs. The initiative aims to equip young entrepreneurs with the necessary tools to establish sustainable businesses.
