The Local Emergency Committee decided to mobilize resources for safety measures in the mining area. Access to the affected zone remains prohibited, and assistance will be provided to those downstream if needed. The situation is being monitored by various authorities, including the Mureș Water Administration and the local emergency inspectorate. The alert was first declared in May 2025 after initial water infiltrations were detected in the mine.
