Stare de urgență pe străzile Franței: restricții de circulație de la 20:00 la 06:00 în Paris și în orașele din nord
Paris and several northern French cities will implement partial curfews following violent protests over the weekend. The curfews, set from 8 PM to 6 AM, aim to prevent further unrest. Prime Minister Sebastien Lecornu emphasized the need for localized restrictions after protests escalated into violence. President Emmanuel Macron declined to accept the resignation of Interior Minister Laurent Nuñez, stressing the importance of maintaining security forces' continuity. Macron also called for new police intervention tactics. The Interior Minister acknowledged police lost control in some areas, promising increased police presence to curb vandalism and looting. Approximately 2,400 arrests were made nationwide during the protests.
