Stai treaz până la ore târzii? Un studiu arată ce impact ar putea avea asupra sănătății tale metabolice

A study highlights the link between sleep patterns, eating habits, and metabolic health, indicating that night owls may have poorer health outcomes. Researchers analyzed 287 women in New Zealand, finding that those with evening chronotypes consumed fewer healthy foods and had higher body fat percentages. Blood tests revealed higher insulin and triglyceride levels in night owls, alongside lower HDL cholesterol. Despite similar calorie intake, evening types exhibited worse metabolic health and dietary quality.
