The Brașov Philharmonic is set to launch its 149th Season with a series of concerts featuring renowned international artists. The season opens on September 10 with a performance by pianist Elisabeth Leonskaja, conducted by Cristian Mandeal. Following this, various events will showcase works by composers like Chopin, Beethoven, and Strauss throughout September and October. Notable performances include a collaboration with musicians from Romania, Latvia, and Ireland, and a concert featuring Mikhail Pletnev. The season will also feature special events in December, including a Gypsy Rock Symphony and a festive concert dedicated to Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker."
