The Executive Committee of the European Olympic Committees (EOC) has set the participation conditions for young athletes from Russia and Belarus at the 2027 Winter EYOF in Brașov. Athletes will compete under the names of the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) and the Belarusian Olympic Committee (BOC), with only their national Olympic logos displayed. They will compete under the EOC flag, and the Olympic anthem will be played during award ceremonies. EOC emphasizes inclusivity in sports, aligning with the International Olympic Committee's stance. Romanian Olympic Committee President Mihai Covaliu highlighted the event's role in fostering character and building connections among youth. Preparations for the 2027 competitions were also discussed during the meeting in Split.
