The palliative care hospital in Săliște will have 27 beds for terminally ill patients, marking a first investment by the Sibiu County Council. Construction is progressing steadily, with the foundation and ground floor completed, and work on the perimeter beams and floor reinforcements underway. The total investment is 28 million lei, with over 12 million lei from non-repayable European funds and more than 15 million lei from the county's budget. This facility will be the first of its kind in Sibiu County, with land provided by the local administration.
