Spectacol desăvârșit la Concursul Enescu

For the first time in the history of the George Enescu International Competition, the instrumental semifinals will feature a play & conduct format. Six semifinalists in each section will perform alongside the Radio Chamber Orchestra while also leading the ensemble without a conductor. The semifinals will take place at the Romanian Athenaeum on September 5, 11, and 17, with free public access to the first part. The play & conduct segment will test the musicians' ability to communicate and lead artistically. Each section will feature specific works by Enescu, Haydn, and Mozart, emphasizing the relationship between soloist and orchestra. Tickets are available online and at select bookstores, with free access for students and people with disabilities.
