Spania rescrie istoria fotbalului. Recordul impresionant al campioanei mondiale și europene

Spain has achieved 42 consecutive official matches without defeat, surpassing Italy's previous record. The streak began on June 15, 2023, with a victory over Italy in the Nations League semifinals. Since then, Spain has recorded 35 wins and seven draws. Their only loss during this period was in the 2025 Nations League final against Portugal. Spain has also won the 2024 European Championship and the 2026 World Cup. Coach Luis de la Fuente emphasizes the need for near perfection to maintain this success, acknowledging the challenges faced during the streak. Spain's record stands out compared to other national teams, with Italy, Argentina, and Brazil having shorter unbeaten runs.
