Spanish authorities evacuated the remains of three 11th-century kings from a monastery threatened by wildfires, relocating them to a museum for protection. The operation was prompted by an advancing fire that endangered the historic site. A military team also retrieved ceremonial garments and valuable paintings from the monastery. The wildfire has burned over 9,000 hectares and led to the evacuation of 16 towns, while another fire in southern Spain has affected 31,000 hectares, displacing around 700 people.
