Adrian Chiriac, vice president of the Iași Court of Appeal, is applying for a judge position at the High Court of Cassation and Justice, following his wife’s recent appointment as Romania's Attorney General. He has passed the initial selection phase for the competition scheduled from July to October 2026. Regardless of the outcome, he will be transferred to the Judicial Inspection starting August 1, 2026, for three years. Chiriac has a background primarily in criminal law and has held various judicial positions since beginning his career in Vaslui.
