She argues that the sanctions lack proper justification and seeks over two million euros in damages. Navka was sanctioned in June 2022 alongside her children for actions undermining Ukraine's sovereignty. She claims the EU failed to demonstrate a sufficient link between her and the sanctions' objectives. Another individual, Ekaterina Ignatova, is also pursuing similar legal action against the EU.
