Șoselele României, test de supraviețuire pentru șoferi. Lista celor mai periculoase drumuri pe timp de noapte

Romania ranks third in Europe for dangerous roads, especially at night when conditions worsen. Statistics reveal that 25% of accidents occur after dark, primarily due to poor lighting and road conditions. In the first nine months of the year, 414 serious accidents happened between 10 PM and 6 AM, resulting in 164 fatalities. The most hazardous road is DN2, known as the 'Road of Death', with 44 serious accidents this year. DN6 follows closely with 39 accidents, while DN1 recorded 27. Additionally, rural and mountainous roads pose risks due to falling rocks and inadequate safety measures. Factors like speeding, poor visibility, and driver distractions exacerbate the dangers.
