Sorin Grindeanu stated that he has not been contacted by the designated Prime Minister Siegfried Mureșan for support, only by Ilie Bolojan. Mureșan's refusal to negotiate with the PSD raises concerns about the government's parliamentary support. Grindeanu emphasized that discussions about votes should be held with Mureșan, not Bolojan, and noted that without PSD's votes, Mureșan's government lacks the necessary support. The PSD announced it will not vote for Mureșan's government, insisting it will only support a government in which it participates, even if as a minority.
