Soprana Teodora Gheorghiu și pianista Diana Ionescu deschid la Viena seria „Turnee de poveste”

Soprano Teodora Gheorghiu and pianist Diana Ionescu will perform in Vienna on October 6, launching a series of concerts for Romanian communities in Europe. The recital, titled "The Smile of Music," features works by various composers and aims to connect with the Romanian diaspora. Gheorghiu, who previously performed with the Staatsoper Wien, emphasizes the emotional weight of singing for an audience of expatriates. The project continues in Berlin, London, and Rome, with introductory lectures by musicologist Oltea Șerban-Pârâu. Funded by the Department for Romanians Abroad, this initiative promotes Romanian cultural identity and strengthens ties with communities across Europe.
