She surpassed both the male and female records, facing extreme conditions including heatwaves and wildfires. Her journey began in Trieste, Italy, and ended in Monaco, crossing eight countries. Woods experienced significant physical and mental challenges, including limited sleep and muscle inflammation. Her husband and dog provided support throughout the journey, and she considers this achievement a culmination of her ultramarathon career.
