Claudiu Manda, the PSD Secretary General, conducted an online poll regarding support for the Siegfried Mureșan government, revealing overwhelming opposition from respondents. 98% of participants indicated that PSD should not support the proposed government, while only 2% favored voting in favor. PSD leader Sorin Grindeanu plans to propose to party members that they abstain from voting for Mureșan's government. Mureșan, the presidential nominee, emphasized that the PSD must decide between supporting a pro-European government or strengthening ties with AUR. He currently has 169 votes from PNL, USR, and UDMR, and intends to engage with minority groups and PSD for further support.
