A recent KIIS survey reveals that 72% of Ukrainians believe President Volodymyr Zelensky is personally responsible for corruption among his associates. The survey indicates a political interpretation of responsibility, where leaders are accountable for their team's actions. Trust levels in Zelensky significantly influence perceptions of his accountability. While 50% of respondents cited government corruption as a major issue, concerns about the war remain prevalent. Additionally, 72% feel corruption has increased since the onset of the Russian invasion, with only 6% believing it has decreased. The survey was conducted with 1,002 adults in government-controlled areas from September 12-21.
