Sondaj Avangarde: Peste 60% dintre români vor ca banii din SAFE să rămână în țară și să fie investiți în industria locală de armament. Ce cred despre contractul cu dedicație pentru Rheinmetall

A recent Avangarde survey reveals that over 60% of Romanians prefer SAFE funds to be invested in local defense industry rather than foreign purchases. More than half are aware of the SAFE program, which allocates €16.68 billion to Romania, the second-largest after Poland. A significant majority believes these funds should enhance domestic production, even if it slows delivery. The survey also indicates skepticism towards a €5.7 billion contract with Rheinmetall, with most respondents opposing the lack of public bidding. Additionally, 43% feel military purchases benefit specific companies rather than the country. Lastly, 51% support balanced defense relations with the US and EU, while 49% favor early elections.
