Somnul prelungit în weekend ar putea fi benefic pentru sănătate / Experții spun că nu ar trebui să ne simțim vinovați

A recent study suggests that sleeping an extra 90 minutes on weekends may lower the risk of hypertension. While experts have previously warned against oversleeping on weekends, this research indicates that moderate recovery sleep can be beneficial. The optimal duration identified is about one hour and 27 minutes, linked to a 9% lower likelihood of hypertension. However, excessive sleep recovery may have negative effects. Maintaining a regular sleep schedule remains crucial, but individuals should not feel guilty for catching up on sleep during weekends. The study analyzed data from 40,000 South Korean adults over seven years, highlighting the importance of balancing sleep with other health habits.
