Former President Traian Băsescu proposed two solutions for forming a stable government in Romania: a national unity government or early elections. He emphasized the need for any solution to address the country's priorities. Meanwhile, designated Prime Minister Luca Niculescu is negotiating with parties, leaning towards a political government with support from PSD, PNL, and UDMR. USR has firmly rejected any government including PSD. Interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan expressed PNL's willingness to support a new government without being part of it, highlighting the urgency to resolve the political deadlock.
