Hungary is utilizing water from fish ponds to irrigate drought-affected agricultural lands, collaborating with national water management authorities. The Hungarian Aquaculture and Fishing Interprofessional Organization is redirecting water to wetlands and aims to expand this initiative nationwide. Prime Minister Peter Magyar acknowledged the urgency of water resource management, admitting that efforts should have started years ago.
