A 50-year-old driver involved in a fatal accident in Brașov was found to have epilepsy and had consciously stopped his treatment. The police concluded that his medical condition led to the accident, where he lost consciousness and hit three pedestrians, resulting in two deaths and one serious injury. Despite knowing his condition, he did not inform authorities about his fitness to drive. The police are urging individuals with medical conditions that may impair driving to report them. The driver has been detained for 24 hours and is being investigated for manslaughter and bodily harm.
