Șoferi opriți și chestionați pe șoselele din România. Ce sunt anchetele de trafic și ce întrebări primesc conducătorii auto
Traffic surveys in Romania, known as Origin-Destination (O-D) studies, collect data on drivers' travel patterns to analyze traffic flow and transport demand. These surveys involve questioning drivers about their journey's origin, destination, purpose, frequency, and passenger count. Conducted by CESTRIN, the surveys aim to inform road network planning and safety measures. The next survey is scheduled for October 7, with specific locations chosen for maximum traffic capture. The methodology has evolved since 1988, incorporating socio-economic questions to enhance data quality. The results support the National Transport Model and infrastructure development decisions.
