A driver from Cugir was caught driving under the influence on Râul Mare street. The incident occurred on the night of September 19-20, 2026, when police stopped a 33-year-old man from Sibiu. He registered a blood alcohol level of 0.43 mg/l in the breath test and was taken to the hospital for further assessment. Investigations are ongoing, according to IPJ Alba representatives.
