A Romanian truck driver was arrested in Verona for stealing diesel from parked trucks on the A4 highway. Italian police have intensified efforts to combat fuel thefts, monitoring license plates of trucks linked to previous thefts. The driver was found with 1,200 liters of stolen fuel and burglary tools in his vehicle. The stolen diesel was returned to the rightful owners, who were unaware of the theft. The driver has been reported to judicial authorities.
