Vasile Moldoveanu, father-in-law of Călin Georgescu, was summoned by DIICOT as a witness in a fraud case involving his son-in-law. The investigation concerns a 1.1 million euro fraud allegation, with a specific transaction of 118,000 lei to businessman Răzvan Leu. This transaction led to Leu filing a complaint that initiated the case against Georgescu, who is currently under preventive arrest for 30 days. The court's decision is final and also applies to businessman Ionel Rusen, who is implicated in the same case.
