Moldoveanu appeared for questioning after the transfer, which occurred amid allegations of fraud against Georgescu, who was arrested for forming a criminal group and committing fraud. The case involves a complaint from Leu, who claims to have lost 1.1 million euros in a financing scheme. Following Georgescu's arrest, supporters gathered outside the detention center, expressing their solidarity with him.
