A 28-year-old man from Dolj has been arrested for physically assaulting and holding his girlfriend captive for five days. The woman, who suffers from mental health issues, wanted to return to her family in Prahova. Authorities report that she sustained serious injuries requiring over 30 days of medical care. The man is being investigated for domestic violence and illegal deprivation of liberty. He was initially detained for 24 hours before being placed under preventive arrest for 30 days.
